A UNESCO-listed hill town and spiritual heart of Umbria, best known for the breathtaking Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi and its peaceful, beautifully preserved streets.

Fun fact: Climb up to the ancient Rocca Maggiore fortress for one of the best panoramic views in Umbria.
